I am originally from Finland, though I’ve spent the majority of my life in the United States. Animals have always been an integral part of my world, and from an early age, I found profound joy in caring for them! That lifelong bond has deeply shaped who I am today. To me, animals offer a rare sense of honesty and comfort that is truly unmatched.

Fun facts about me: My journey began as a ballet dancer before evolving into athletics. No matter the path I followed, my heart always found its way back to animals. Caring for them has been the one true constant throughout every chapter of my life. I’m a proud dog mom to my sweet Russian Toy Terrier, Kiwi, and before her, my beloved Pitbull, Gypsy. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for everything from dogs and cats to snakes, spiders, farm animals, reptiles, and more. I’m an avid reader and love getting completely lost in a good book, and I prefer quality time over big crowds. I am mostly at peace when I'm outdoors, and I love a good chocolate ice cream.
